rying to find my way around Typepad so My blog is not quite what I'd like it to be but will do just fine for now.
I've had a busy old time this half term ...kicking off with 4 days away at Stitches with the ScrapGenie team. We had a great old time with lots of laughs, a lil' 
"working" in between, and new friendships formed. Rober
t is a great guy to work for and has some thrilling plans for Scrapgenie this year ... I'm quite beside myself with the excitement of it all.
My time away was marred by the news of my folks attack in SA (as per this post). I would like to say a huge thanks to the Scrapgenie team who who amazingly supportive, and thank you to everyone who has sent best wishes/prayers for my folks - they are now physically on the mend. As my dear friend Lou says we must continue to think positive thoughts about SA .. and to pray for healing and peace in that country.
The lil' Jewels had a busy time this half term too ... with a visit to Dickens World, play dates with friends and a morning at the Renaissance Cafe painting bits and bobs. All in all half term just whizzed by ..now I need another week off to recover.
